Ask your rep's to support the FairTax!

Dear FairTax Supporter,

Getting even a moment with your elected representative has become more and more difficult over the years. These days, the automatic computer generated response and the staff member filtering out citizen concerns is more the rule than the exception.

But August brings Members of Congress home and many Representatives and Senators plan on Town Hall meetings-- with little advance notice. We've obtained a database listing such meetings that helps us get our views, unfiltered, to those who are elected to represent us in Congress.

It's our Constitutional right--and even our duty as citizens worried about the destructive effects of the income tax system on our struggling economy--to bring the FairTax message to elected officials this summer. In your own words and in your own hometown you become the most important and needed FairTax champion when you take the microphone at a Town Hall meeting.

Would you take a look at our listings at www.fairtax.org/townhall and find any meetings in your district?

Pass the word to others that this is a good time to remind Members of Congress that the FairTax can reverse the economic downturn and get people back to work. If we don't have a listing for a short-notice Town Hall meeting, take up the slack by passing the word to other FairTaxers about meetings you've heard about. Let's bring the virtues and potential of the FairTax to every Congressional Town Hall meeting across the country.

Together we can make representative democracy work for the good of the nation.

Thanks,

Ken Hoagland
