I went to to Rob Wittman's office this afternoon and had a nice conversation with some of his staff there. I also went online tonight to my.BarackObama.com/OfficeFeedback and told them this:
Please describe any feedback or questions you received from the staff member you spoke with.:
I informed them that much of the input they would be receiving is "astro-turf" generated and initiated by the DNC bent on increasing it's own power and the power of Democrat politicians. I let them know that I wanted the congress to take time to limit their actions to within the scope of the constitution and not increase the size of government nor increase health care expense by taxing people or imposing new taxes on businesses that make the health care system work now.
What could we have done to improve this experience? Is there anything else you'd like us to know?:
Try to use some of this energy expended toward writing a better bill that is aimed at protecting the rights of people not at increasing the power of government.
