I visited Rob Wittman's office today (4904-B George Washington Memorial Hwy., Yorktown, VA 23692) and showed them the step by step instructions given to me (& posted here earlier) by the DNC via the OFA. I was pleased to find out that he is planning a Town Hall Meeting August 31st at 6 PM Rob Wittman is the only one in the area interested in communicating with his constituents in the area and needs our input. Make plans to be there to make sure your voice is heard. in the Music & Theatre Hall of Christopher Newport News University Ferguson Ceter for the Arts, 1 University Place, Newport News, VA 23606. During my visit I was happy to see that Rob had an outline of his principles regarding health care reform that are also available on his site, http://www.wittman.house.gov. Also I saw that he had taken the Responsible Healthcare Reform Pledge. My next stop will be Mark Warner's office in Norfolk. The DNC has a well organized campaign to make it seem like they have grass roots support. Sign up to balance the message. |
