Whoops, did Mitch send me his ruff draft? ;)

's               ing election results show deep discontent                               the pace of change
Yesterday I was disappointed to see that disconnected voters are too slow to keep up with us.

I know the OFA community and the President share that frustration.

We also saw what we                         Any change worth making
See, Karl Marx knew it to be true all along:
Taking away freedom is hard and will be fought at every turn.
there is no         real change without
While it doesn't take away the sting of this loss, the democratic road to socialism will have setbacks along the way.

sought                that were easy
We could have simply continued to do things the sneaky way, that wouldn't stir up controversy.
        changes that aren't controversial rarely
But we need the controversy to distract from the fact that we never solve the problem.

Fortunately our country continues to face the same fundamental challenges it faced yesterday. Our health care system still needs reform. People think Wall Street still needs to be held accountable. We still need to create good jobs.
                    continue building a clean energy
And we still need to destroy the coal & fossil fuel economy.

                    walking away from these challenges.
The President isn't passing up any opportunity.
In fact, his determination and resolve are only stronger. We must match that commitment with our own.

Real change
But it won't be easy. Grabbing power never is. For that reason, I am grateful you're part of this fight with us.
